Getting Started

System requirements: recent desktop Firefox or Chrome.

To start using the latest version of Memonite, go to where a new local notebook will be created for you if you haven't used Memonite before.

By default, your data is stored in the browser's local storage. This is a place on your disk that is managed by your browser. This data never leaves your computer (unless you use a sharing feature of course). Read more: Local storage.

You can create a cloud notebook. In this case the data will be synchronised to the Memonite server, but a copy will still be available in the browser's local storage, so that you can still use your notebook if you're offline. Read more: Cloud sync .

For keyboard shortcuts, look at the bottom of the screen. If it's not visible, press Ctrl+/ on Windows/Linux or ⌘/ on a Mac.
